I have been elected twice to the office of selectman in Northwood, dedicated to keep your taxes low. As selectman I have implemented plans for better communication between town officials and you. I have fought for and ensured that excess tax revenue has been returned to you, reducing your taxes every year I have served as your selectman. I have also sought to ensure that the ARPA funds that we received were used in an effective manner which benefitted everyone in our community. I have also sought to budget each year with you in mind. Like you, I have to watch the bottom line when it comes to my own personal budget. I approach the town budget in the same manner. I prioritize and seek to fund those areas that we all use.

I was ordained as a minister of the Gospel in 1989. Since then, I have been involved in pastoral ministries and have served in various capacities in numerous churches, including planting and pastoring churches. In the early 2000's I was a founding member of a ministry that partnered with a pastor in Tanzania Africa to build and operate an orphanage. I have made 5 trips to Tanzania, which involved oversight of the orphanage, along with holding pastoral conferences for the local ministers in that area. That orphanage is still operating today. I have also held various leadership positions in the two denominations that I was ordained with. I am presently ordained with the IPHC and pastor a church in Concord.

My ministerial background opened the door for me to become a member of the Northwood Fire and Rescue Department, as their Chaplain. I volunteer my time in this role, which involves being on call day and night. Our emergency service members need our support due to the abnormal stresses they all endure as they seek to keep our community safe.

I have been a dedicated servant of all people both here and abroad. I have sought to help people, especially in their time of need - in full time ministry for nearly 4 decades - and now in public service as a selectman and chaplain. I promise to bring this same commitment and dedication to Concord as I serve you as your next State Representative.
